well I flew through this! I’m a HUGE TJR fan, so I was expecting to be blown away by this book.
I saw an instagram post that started off with “books that made me believe in love again” so I guess it was kind of spoiled for me. But throughout everything that happened in this book, I was never wowed like I was reading her other books.
I think we really did see Lauren’s growth throughout the book, and I think adding in every other couples side stories and struggles was a cool addition and it brought a lot of new and creative perspectives to the story that helped guide Lauren through her process, and you can see that.
I was happy when I finished this book because i’m a sucker for a happy ending, but it was expected.
this was way too rushed, way too dramatic. abby and joaquin’s story could’ve been a beautiful one, but how fast paced this was made it almost unreadable.
would sell my soul to forget and reread. had to take a colleen break after this because i didn’t know how to feel or what to think in the best way possible
I loved this whole story. Macy and Elliot had an interesting relationship I thought we saw flourish really well throughout the book. The plot twist at the end, and the reasoning for the disconnect on Macy's end was something I didn't see coming, and while a lot of people had negative thoughts about- I thought it tied everything together well.
Overall, a great story!!!
OH MY GOSH!!!
TJR is a go to author for me. When I need a pick me up book, a quick read, whatever- I go to whichever Reid book I haven’t read yet.
I made sure to not let this one get spoiled for me (that happened last time :( couldn’t rate as high) and let me tell you, THIS WAS AMAZING
if you could insert pictures, I would, but I was SOBBING. This was such a great written book, and I was constantly going back and forth on who I thought Emma was going to choose, and who I wanted her to choose.
all I have to say is, i’m team Jesse, how about you?
so sad. heartbreaking to think of how people can treat animals. Glad buck found his place at the end :)
5/5⭐️
I think Gavin and Thea’s story was beautifully written. I loved that Gavin was able to open up to his teammates and really be able to figure it out. While he worked it out with his teammates, he also knew and was able to figure it out on his own. He understood it needed to be him and Thea.
AND THE GRAND GESTURE???? talk about perfection.
I was really satisfied with how this was done. I didn’t think it was rushed, I didn’t think there were any missing pieces. Loved every page!!!
3.5/5⭐️
this was a cute YA get me back into reading and out of my slump book. I loved the relationship Ren and Lina were able to develop, and following them along with Howard and trying to understand her mom was a cool addition and sub plot. I loved how it all came together at the end.
Overall, just what I needed to get me out of my slump!!!
