Junk food in book form. Fun but not life changing. The prose is rough and the plot doesn't feel like it's planned out.
Some of the best world building I've ever encountered. I have reread this book countless times.
Polka never dies! I adored this entry because of the humor in the problem solving. It doesn't shy away from negativity but it doesn't come off as hopeless or angsty.
I like that Dresden doesn't do the return to status quo in every book. It feels like there really is unsolved mystery and I can't always predict what's going to happen. It's exciting. Harry and Morgan team up made me emotional.
I like this series by Suzanne Wright. It's formulaic but in a comforting way.
I like Suzanne Wright but this series was rough, disjointed and not fun.
It's fine. I enjoy the setting but if you've read one LKH book you know them all. It's good for a junkfood day.
Could have used a trigger warning for on screen SA. It had some plot holes but I don't mind rereading it every few years.
