Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC!

I was a huge fan of FEED as a teen so I had super high expectations of this! It was a little too all over the place for me personally, and the writing felt a little too dense.

All in all a good story, the writing fell a little flat for me, I think it could have used some more descriptive language, more set dressing, but the scenes where food was described and history really shone.

Fun little story! I always want more from Joe hill, and this is no exception. I miss his longer books!

This was tricky, it had a lot going for it, but WAY too many concepts shoved into a shorter story. I wish the background of the main character was trimmed, it left me confused and pulled out of the tension every time it was mentioned, as well as the AI angle. The fact that it was advertised as an AI horror story doesn't really hold true either. Not sure.

This was beautifully written, and reminded me a lot of the invisible life of Addie larue. It really took it's time unwinding the story and taking you through each beat slowly. The characters were well thought out and full of life, and I was engaged until the last page. I only wished for more of Alice!

Great title, beautiful art and story, as well as character design and artwork. The story was well told with great transitions as well.

What a beautiful story. It really threw me for a loop in terms of where it was going, and I loved reading it, especially as someone who hopes to have a daughter one day. May all our daughters be monsters that can protect themselves and their families ❤️

This was really great. The beginning got off to a slow start, but it really started to ramp up and it just didn't let up until the very end. The beats were exciting, the twists shocking, and the narrative engaging and innovative. A real treat.

This sure packed a punch. I was losing interest in the beginning with so many characters being introduced, but when the author really zero's in on the main focus and story, it really sings. It was beautifully done.

Ironically, I devoured this! The concept and the writing really sang, and the character development was well thought out and nuanced. I really enjoyed this fresh story, and fresh take!
