I was looking forward to reading this book, but I was left disappointed. I didn't feel like I got to know the main characters. I love the best friends turned to lovers trope, but here I was questioning whether they really were best friends. Sure they've known each other since they were 7 years old.

his poems was adorkable

But I didn't get the impression that they were (still) close later on.

I got really annoyed by Sally's mother and best friend. They were forcing her to date way too much. It didn't feel realistic and I couldn't understand how they didn't realise their behavior was wrong. Becks was okay, but I barely got to know him. I'm not sure how I feel about Sally. I want to like her, but her way of handling the forced dates was just frustrating, which made her frustrating. I also felt like Sally was being too passive about the whole thing. And she fell for the same tricks they pulled on her, again and again, which was (again) frustrating.

Last but not least. I don't mind if characters are afraid to confess their feelings, but they were both too dense when it came to their feelings for each other.

I really like the format. Loved the characters. 3 stars, because I did think the romance was lacking and the ending was rushed.

This is one of those books I read every few years and still love as much as my first time reading it. There's just something about the way they can't help falling for each other. Not a 5 stars, because I did dislike the friends a bit.

At times over the top. Disliked the stereotyping.

I've DNF'ed quite some HR's in the passed couple of months. This one got me right back into it. Of course, that could be explained by the fact this didn't actually read like a HR. It did drag a bit near the end, but overall an enjoyable read.

Was okay. They were both quite immature when they had disagreements, but it had total rom-com vibes, so. I think I would like a movie version better.

3.75 stars.

3.5 It was cute, but weird at the same time. Like, it was too creepy to consider romantic.

I liked it. At times they came across more mature than you'd expect from teenagers, especially Mina. She often talked like parents do when they're trying to let you figure our something on your own.

I liked the first installment better, but still a 2,5 stars for this one.
