i liked it at 15, should read it again to see what i would think of it now
such good humour, great writing and an even better message! loved it, read it in 2 days (i’m a slow reader) and i would love to get the chance to read it for the first time again. i learned a lot from it!
for the whole book i was waiting for something to happen, for them to show that they are stronger than men, but i didn’t see it
my favorite book ever! read it for the first time as a 15 year old, then again this summer and i was shocked with how little i understood the first time i read it. i think every highschooler should read this book many times to understand life better
i loved the allegorical way the story was told. if you know anything about the history of sssr it is an incredible story to read. i always wondered how totalitarism could work and how no one said they were against it, but this really opened my eyes regarding this theme.
read the penguin version so i could understand it better, but the plot, characters and the point of the story were beautiful.
the worst book i ever read. i can’t stand realism or russian literature.
camus is a genius. the book is so easily written it lets you think only about the philosophical themes it revolves around. genius.
fitzgerald’s way of writing is awesome, but the plot could’ve been better
i could really immerse into this book because of how relatable it is. i’ve read it at least 12 times and i loved it even more with every read.
