2017: Even after the many times I've read this, I still cry over the events of this book! I love every minute of this book and wish that there was more to it!
As much as I enjoyed the first part of the book when the characters were at the school, I have to give this book a lower rating because the second half of the book just didn't cut it for me. As unexpected as the twists were it still wasn't enough to satisfy my want for the second half to match the first part of the book in quality.
2024 edit: This book was a little annoying to read due to the Ron and Hermione continual arguing subplot. Still enjoyable overall though
2017: This book was the best book I've read in the past 3 years!
I didn't care for the ending, but I'm intrigued enough to read the next book when it comes out.
I really enjoyed learning about Alison Arngrim's life while on the set of Little House on The Prairie, before she got the role, and her years since. It was interesting to learn all of the little insights into the behind-the-scenes of the show as well as the relationships between the cast members. It was interesting to learn more about her charity work with the AIDS society and the PROTECT organization. I would recommend this to any person who was a fan of the Little House on the Prairie TV series.
It was interesting hearing his experience on the Harry Potter set through the 10 years the movies were filmed and all the interactions he had with many other famous actors and actresses. It was also refreshing to hear about his experiences both great and troubling before and after he became well known from playing Draco Malfoy.
This book is cute. Wish it was a little longer, but overall good.
A re-read of a book that I read in middle school. I'm glad that I came back to it 10+ years later and reading it as an adult as opposed to a child and picking up on all of the themes that are present within it that probably flew over my head as a 12-year-old.
