This review is spot on: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5437387076

I enjoyed the early structure of this book where one section is layered so well upon the others for some compelling points. Many of the author’s suggestions will be considered radical despite making sense. That label will be used to ignore this issue and untimely deepen inequality and poverty.

Typical middle of the road Ware book. Slightly different than her usual Gothic murder mysteries at least, but not sold on her being a thriller writer. Great research in certain areas to make the IT parts somewhat believable but then the main character being seemingly superhuman in other areas hinders that believability.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/3715133226 - this review nails it. "4 parts good info and 1 part crackpot.

-Always nice to have basic ideas that one can implement immediately as well as see some immediate effects. Sinuses haven't been this clear in a while.

-Surprising to see how much noise breathing I was doing after paying more attention.

Excellent distillation of conflicting source material to make an engrossing narrative. Engaging throughout.

Great concept that I agree with, but incredibly repetitive. A rare instance where a longer blog post would have sufficed.

Incredible detail and objective, but was more academic/technical than I was hoping for.

Just want to quickly preface this review with the fact that I received this book as a giveaway winner. I would have purchased it regardless as I enjoy Ruth Ware, but just FYI.

Ruth Ware returns to form with her fourth novel. Wasn't the biggest fan of the Lying Game so I was nervous to see how'd she follow it up. Despite the pacing to be a bit slower with less action, she was still able to keep it interesting with a slow ever growing tension, and delivered a hit. Loved this one.
