It was okay, throughly chilling, although the accounts in this book don't exactly line up with other demonic encounters such as the ones listed by Ed and Lorraine Warren.
I first read this on Webtoons, and it was a really good read. I'm so behind on my webtoons 😭
EWwWwWwW, I just can't with whiny, self-absorbed, basic feminine characters....
It's a good read, I skipped a lot of the book while reading (I like instant gratification, okay? Its a problem). I loved keeping up with the characters and kept a running tally on who was "infected" and who was a vampire, lol.
So, so, sooo good. The writing prose style is just mind-blowingly, breathtakingly beautiful. I cried while reading it, which alone says something remarkable about the emotional aspect of it. I love how everything kind of tied together, like a perfect ribbon tying a present together.
Oh man, such an incredible plot line. The characters in this book are all so human and realistic, this one's an emotional rollercoaster
I love the magical realism aspect of this book! The mother-daughter relationships in the book are very relatable and emotionally impactful. The feminism is real, folks! It has themes of empowerment, family relationships, and figuring out who you are. Shout out to the author for including the LGBT+ community in her work!
Suprisingly a really good read, I found myself enjoying the book
Such a good memoir, highly recommend
