Kinda wish I had waited till I was out on the trail to listen to this book, It was a cute back and forth convo between Marnie and Michael. The audiobook did a great job with keeping pace with this book, Reading along with the book became a bit of a droll but enjoyed just listening.
I've been a Cass Elliot fan for many years, from summers at the pool with my dad blasting the Mamas and the Papas or Cass' own hits. Just like Jim Croce, Cass Elliot was gone too early for the good of music everywhere. This memoir was a good view into Cass' life from the perspective of her daughter and the stories of her mothers life she was given.
What I feel most people might've failed to realize is a biography and memoir are two very different things, At the start of this book I was having trouble that this wasn't Cass' story but Owens memories of Cass. These memories from Owen were a sweet view point into a daughter and mothers life.
A bit repetitive on a couple stories but overall enjoyable.
This physical book is more of a pictures and history book so the audiobook was a real treat with audio recording from the actual people in Dolly’s life and Dolly herself!
Really enjoyed this one!
Very much enjoyed this autobiography!
Henry Winkler being so well known as the Fonz genuinely gave such an amazing story telling of his highs and lows!
This book was something. Coming from a homeschooled family that wasn't fucking crazy, Tara's story is one of the only images that come to peoples mind when you heard "homeschooled" in the 2010's.
So many of the spots in this book just disappointed, upset, and frustrated me.
Hehehehehe this one was hilarious and a speedy read. Was it dumb fluff book 100000%
I didn’t know if it was gonna do anything for me, but the fun and detailed writing kept me going deeper
What a unique story! 3 POV's wrapped in one book, It took me till about the half way mark that Sarah Penner also wrote London Séance Society, This made the books writing me SO much more sense.
A few of the spots were so predictable that I barely wanted to scan the page.
Overall however, an interesting store with a FMC that kept me intrigued.
Just like Hotel Nantucket, This story was a cutesy multi-person POV. I enjoyed the characters and the small twists to weave them all together.
A light read to start the year off right!
Funny little oopsie read!
Didn't know the prequel for pucking around was at the start of my audiobook, Once I heard and that concludes... I was so confused! xD
A delicious starter for the 1st book of the series.
This was a ride, It was not written completely for the plot.
