I wished Anna acted more differently when her brother said something about her past to her sister. That was inexcusable but she was mad for a second then carried on when others would be enraged.
Interesting book and I like the way it ended. I liked Jacks character and how he struggled with alcoholism and his temper, the mother Wendy, is a submissive woman who only thinks of her child. She strives to be completely different from her own mother who she detests. Danny is an interesting character trying to understand the world around him with his “shining” abilities. Lastly we need to protect Dick Hollorann. He’s the type of friend everyone needs. Just call and he will be there.
A dystopian world where books are banned which leads to a society controlled by the government. You can see parts of the book in reality nowadays. And at first I didn’t like Mildred, montags wife but my feelings changed. She would choose the “family” on tv over her own husband. It’s sad what society done to her.
She had 3 men on lockdown. What a woman 😂 this book is a page turner. Like who will she choose?? I need to know!
I was almost finished with the book but to me it became a chore to listen to them basically have sex all the time and it’s boring. Not really passionate and steamy. The plot was interesting and I wished the author spaced out the sex scenes and made it more like them longing for each others touch but they can’t because they’re 2 different species and their separate kingdoms would disapprove. Like that idea only lasted for the year that they were in the castle, next it was sex after that with a little thought to their futures.
Such a funny lighthearted book. I love the Gorgeous Grump and the coffee they named after him 😂 Gavin is relatable though, being an older soccer player and describing his pain from the years of playing soccer really hit me. I felt so bad for him.
Fantastic book! Is it me or was every character hot in this book? They way the main character was observing each male character had me feeling some way 😂
Very messed up book. I can’t even say much or I’ll spoil it. But there’s so many twist and turns that makes the story interesting.
