I had high hopes after the last one but this one let me down so hard. Honestly wish I had just stopped at the second one, the ending tied nothing up, made no sense, was rushed, and confusing.
The first 2/3 of this book was 2 stars but the ending bumped it up to four.
This book was honestly quite interesting, it was sci-fi/dystopian because earth had become unlivable so they go to this far away system with four planets and three suns, but the planet it is placed on (Laterre) is in a dark season and does not get light, also it is perpetually raining. So the rich people (First Estate) live in a dome and get artificial sunlight and do not get rained on. Overall, I found it quite interesting.
Ahhh, my favorite trope. Group of teens who initially don't like each other unite to become criminals from their government under the vague leadership of a girl with magic in order to save the universe from a deadly virus. #TheLunarChronicles
Just wish there were more chapters after "Happily Ever After".
*Sigh*
Other than that, this whole series (Including the "Caraval" prequel series) was ✨Magical✨
Fans of Heartless by Marrissa Meyer and The Cruel Prince by Holly Blackwell will love it!
