I read this book 2 years ago, but didn't fully grasp the intensity of the story. I have a little brother with down syndrome (which, by the way, is nothing like what Charlie experiences {for more information go to National Down Syndrome Society's website) so this book was especially hard to read. Daniel Keys does such a good job developing Charlie as a character and as a relatable person. This book really makes you think.

#Nerd follows a simple and overused idea, but takes it to a whole new level. This book blew me away and I ended up reading the other 8 books in only a few days. The Hashtag series is definitely on my list of favorites. This is a MUST READ for all nerds that feel like Rim (the sweet brainiac on the cover).

Wow. Just wow. This book was incredible and makes me a little scared about the future. Really touches on the idea that torture can break anyone. I would highly suggest Animal Farm by George Orwell, and Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. All of these books deserve 5 out of 5 ratings.

"Boom boom fricking boom." - Johnny

This book was amazing! It had a captivating story line, amazing character development and was so heart-warming. If you like this book, I would strongly suggest "My Fault" by Mercedes Ron.

I disagree. Sure, Avery and Jameson have their first kiss pretty early in the book, but it takes a lot longer for them to actually get into a relationship. The plot does drag a lot through the books, but that is one of the things I love about this series. Avery keeps solving little puzzles without knowing the full picture, but ends up killing twelve birds with one stone.

This book, and all others by Marie Lu, are masterpieces. Legend, Prodigy, Champion, and Rebel all have amazing storylines and well developed characters. Day and June for life!

I will always tell people how good of an author Marie Lu is, and I believe every word of it. All of her books are outstanding and I am so excited for her to keep writing. I can't say this about many books, but this book was horrible. Not only was it hard to get into, it had a boring storyline and terrible character development. The climax lasts only a page and the whole plot is poorly executed. The only reason I read this book was because of the author herself. I do hope that Lu continues to write, but hopefully not in this style.

Wow. Just wow. This book was such an amazing story built off of a strange idea. I could not put the book down and cursed my bad thinking for not going ahead and buying the second one. Bracken is a truly amazing writer.

Absolutely agree. This book dragged me in like no other.
