Who Would Like This Book:
If classic romance tropes are your jam, "Kiss an Angel" delivers the goods: arranged marriage, grumpy-sunshine pairing, and a unique circus backdrop. Daisy, the pampered heroine, finds herself forced to toughen up and discovers strengths she never knew she had, while Alex, the brooding hero, slowly reveals his hidden depths. Animal lovers will adore Tater the baby elephant and a cast of quirky menagerie friends. Fans of slow-burn enemies-to-lovers and epic groveling scenes will find a lot to chew on here. It's a must for those who can't get enough of the 90s contemporary romance feels or love seeing a heroine truly come into her own.
Who May Not Like This Book:
If alpha heroes who border on cruel or plotlines involving forced marriage raise your hackles, tread carefully - Alex spends a big chunk of the book being a grump (and sometimes much worse). Some readers found the relationship dynamics hard to swallow and felt Daisy was a bit too much of a doormat. Others were put off by dated attitudes about sex and gender, instances of dubious consent, and the sometimes heavy-handed use of tropes. If you prefer your romance fully modern or want a light, angst-free journey, this one might not be a fit.

Has Romance?

From The Publisher:
Pretty, flighty Daisy Devreaux can either go to jail or marry the mystery man her father has chosen for her. Arranged marriages don't happen in the modern world, so how did the irrepressible Daisy find herself in this fix?
Alex Markov, as humorless as he is deadly handsome, has no intention of playing the loving bridegroom to a spoiled little feather-head with champagne tastes. He drags Daisy from her uptown life to a broken down traveling circus and sets out to tame her to his ways.
But this man without a soul has met his match in a woman who's nothing but heart. Before long, passion will send them flying sky high without a safety net... risking it all in search of a love that will last forever.

I read last few chapters quite a few time and cried a bucket of tears every time I read those final chapters. Beautifully woven emotional story. This is the best among all the books I have read of Suzanne Elizabeth Philips. So far- most probably the best book written by the her.
Unique and special! Great story. Love Daisy. Epic grovel in this one
