Clio: a therapist.

Frankie: a prison librarian

MY THOUGHTS

This marks the 5th book I’ve read by Feeney. I think there’s only one I haven’t read yet of hers. I love her writing style. Her books flow nicely, and I typically get through them pretty quickly. I made it through this one in a day.

Feeney does a great job developing characters & is an expert at plotting a good thriller.

This kept my attention throughout, and I kept wanting to see how everything was connected. I enjoyed how little details are sprinkled throughout & everything starts coming together.

Although some aspects of the story are predictable, it didn’t take away the enjoyment for me.

The ending was okay. Not amazing, but not bad.

I am a sucker for complex family relationships, and there’s a lot of those in this one.

There are multiple POVs & multiple timelines in this one.

TL;DR: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️hard to put down. interwoven POVs of 4 women & 2 crimes. finished in a day. ending wasn’t amazing, but enjoyed the book.
