I had heard about HBO TV Show True Blood and the thought this would be a good way to learn about the character to determine whether or not I'd watch the show. Overall the stories were okay, but not the best book I've read.
Was bummed when I realized this book was only a compilation of short stories. I had read a couple from other anthologies. The only one in the book that seemed to fill any gaps was "One Word Answer", the rest seemed to me to be fluff and some not very good fluff at that.
