ABOUT THE SERIES
Nyphron Rising is the third book in the captivating Riyria Revelations. Instead of a string of sequels this six-book fantasy series was conceived as a single epic tale divided into individual episodes. All were written before the first was released so that plot elements are intertwined, yet each book has its only story and conclusion.

I vowed I wouldn't read the next book in a row. I don't normally read the same author back to back, because I like variety. But that...was an evil cliffhanger. It truly was.
Yet another great Riyria book! Hadrian and Royce have always been engaging characters, and I find myself liking them more and more with every Riyria book I read.
One of my favorite parts of this book were the few chapters we saw through Modina's POV. She's such an interesting character, and I always find myself curious about what's going on in her head. While Modina's POV was one of my favorites, there isn't a single POV throughout the entire book that feels unnecessary or slow. Each has a purpose, and they fulfill them perfectly.
I so nervous about what is to come in the next, and last, book in this series. I love so many of these characters, and I'm afraid for what is to come. There is no doubt in my mind that we will suffer through the deaths of many beloved characters before this is all over. I just hope that my favorites will remain relatively unscathed.
