His flawless pet.
His good girl.

Emerson Grant tells me I'm more than just good enough. I'm worthy of his praise.
There are a million reasons why I should stay away. The owner of the Salacious Players' Club is not just my new boss - he's twice my age.
And my ex-boyfriend's father....
With him, I am treasured. I am adored. I am his.
I'm a good girl, but I'm falling for the wrong man.
Emerson Grant knows what he wants - and he wants me.
So, how far will I go to hear his approval?

This was delicious but full of emotion! I enjoyed the exploration or the characters and showing growth within them. I’m a sucker for magnet chemistry and that was on fire! I would love to see more of these characters as some things don’t feel quite finished. But I loved this book!
This is a really good story and the author shows that even in erotic romance you can write a really good plot and multidimensional characters.
Age gap has never been my favorite theme, nor has BDSM themes. In fact, I often avoid them in my books. But I think it worked pretty well in this case. Even if the age difference between the main characters was a significant problem in the story, which I usually don't like. And although this time I would also prefer to avoid the drama associated with it, I understand why the author made such choices. And I believe that in this case, the very reason why age mattered was extremely important for the story.
Overall, there were several themes in this book that had the potential to cause significant drama. The age difference between the main characters, the fact that Charlotte started a relationship with her ex-boyfriend's father, and it's the boyfriend she left just a moment ago. And of course, the unusual sexual relationship between the main characters. And I think this story takes full advantage of that potential for drama. But somehow it didn't bother me at all, maybe because I think the situation is really complicated and deserves the whole package.
I had previously read the third book in the series, and now I'm back to the first. And I'm not sure I won't re-read the third book somewhen soon. Now I am able to connect much better with all these characters. I will probably read the second book in this series soon as well.
