From The Publisher:

Sarah J. Maas' sexy, richly imagined series continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance - and healing - in each other's arms.

Nessa is a great character, but the timeline in this book made no sense. Also, the pregnancy plot was horribly done

3.5⭐️ It was kind of difficult to read thru Nesta’s poisonous character, constant arrogance and bad attitude… just was too much of negativity to the point of annoyance… At times, i would forget what was the series about… How much can you hate someone for something that wasn’t their fault… Feyre went through a lot worse and at a much younger age and still was a better character… I would actually understand if Feyre was acting this way with her past and misfortunes… but Nesta? Was she humiliated, stolen, went through ridiculous trials, blamed by closest people, suffered constant abuse and trauma?! I had to skim over her parts so many times as it was making me so annoyed and irritated… anyway I’m over it now…

I do like Cassian’s character and don’t think that Nesta is a good fit for him. He deserves someone better like Elain… Nesta’s redemption wasn’t enough or redeeming enough

LIKE: *Nesta being badass *Her journey and healing *The power of female friendship *Magical friendship bracelets *Girl power in general *A magical house that reads romance novels *Cassian is there *Librarian army

DISLIKE: *Literally every single thing about Feyre's plotline *Is it really that much harder to go down stairs than to go back UP once you're already exhausted?

I liked this book for the sex and romance but I felt the plot was lacking and did not care much for it. When the main characters weren't together, I was bored. Someone's review said that Nesta is the most complex character SJM has written and Cassian is a brute with a big d***. I like both characters but tend to agree.
