From The Publisher:
After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds.
I was sure everything would be okay if I had them.
It wasn't.
The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we're better off if I'm alone.
After five years on the run, I'm caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from.
I thought I was doing the right thing.
Now, I'm not so sure.
North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure.
I won't ever forgive myself.

I can såser why this is considered a "trashy romance" but sometimes it just hit right. For me I loved the fact that part of the thrill of the book is trying to figure out if the heroine and her bonds will get a happy ever after as it's a clear winner of the most enemy to lovers I've read in a long while. I had so much anxiety for the "romance" alone and added to the danger lurking and her secrets was just what I needed. I was completely emersed in the audiobook and even without listening. But might not pick up the next book too soon as 1. I'm scared to be disappointed and 2. To save for a day when I need so e serious distraction that only a trashy romance can give
