i don't like the holidays
i don't like christmas music or movies and a christmas story deeply scarred me as a child
but i will read anything connie willis writes, and this is a great collection
this is because connie willis can write a riveting, sweet story without being saccharine
it is almost impossible for me to appreciate a love story devoid of irony
aliens who disapprove of you like aunt judith?
professional christmas installers?
even if willis leans on classics that aren't my favorite for her reference points, i still love it
