This was awful, like Weir was two weeks into Intro to Philosophy 101 but hadn't been paying attention that much, while also being two weeks into Intro to Creative Writing 101 and the syllabus hadn't quite gotten to the parts about the importance of characterization, plot, and subtext. Plus it's in second person.

Pretentious, unoriginal, and boring.
