I read this so long ago that it is time to go back and re-read many of Mr. King's books. I not only love his books but the man is also such a humble and generous person. He's been through a lot in his life. I really admire the person he is. I live in Maine as well. He has given so much to make a very poor state have many improvements and done it quietly. I have been wanting to re-read this book and my personal favorite "THE DARK TOWER SERIES."
His best book of short stories. You can tell her spent time to get the exact right sentence... To freak you out.
I read this bumper collection of short fiction from Stephen King many years ago, and it has stayed with me ever since - a testament to King's skill at crafting stories that linger in the mind, long after the book has been set aside. Fantasy and reality blur throughout, the horror coming sometimes from the most unexpected places.
