Abby Cooper, Psychic Eye was a great start to what should be a fun series. It introduces us to Abby Cooper, a psychic who works hard, tells it like it is and won't allow her clients to become addicted to relying on her and what she sees in their futures.

One of her clients turns up dead, she becomes obsessed with finding out what happened and, in the process, puts herself in danger. In the romance department, she compares herself to be vanilla ice cream and signs up with an online dating service. She meets detective and skeptic, Dutch Rivers. They immediately hit it off, but he's not entirely forthcoming about his career after hearing Abby praddle on about her dislike of the police and their distrust of her profession.

The story was a wonderful blend of romance and mystery. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to continuing the series.
