From The Publisher:
Dance Dance Dance-a follow-up to A Wild Sheep Chase-is a tense, poignant, and often hilarious ride through Murakami's Japan, a place where everything that is not up for sale is up for grabs.
As Murakami's nameless protagonist searches for a mysteriously vanished girlfriend, he is plunged into a wind tunnel of sexual violence and metaphysical dread. In this propulsive novel, featuring a shabby but oracular Sheep Man, one of the most idiosyncratically brilliant writers at work today fuses together science fiction, the hardboiled thriller, and white-hot satire.

I love the way Murakami writes. This time around I was unsatisfied with the ending.
3.5 stars Don't really know what to say about this one. I really liked it and how it was written but feel like the story went over my head sometimes
“We continued our drive along the sea. Beside a pine grove, I pulled the car over and suggested we go for a short walk. The afternoon was pleasant, hardly any wind, the surf gentle. Just a rippling sheet of tiny waves drawing in toward shore. Perfect peaceful periodicity.”
Just an okay book unfortunately. Picked up where the 3rd book left off but not much happens and it takes a long time to do so.
