In my early teenage years, I found this book on a shelf in my own home (of course I lived with my parents back then who read a lot and in many different genres). I must have been thirteen years old or so. I read it in one night. And the very next day, I immediately recommended it to my best friend. A few years later I read it again and I still liked it. This is also one of the few cases when I like both the book and the movie alike.
