Who Would Like This Book:

If you love fantasy worlds brimming with magic, drama, and super swoony romance, this book will grab you from page one! "A Court of Mist and Fury" is the rare sequel that blows book one out of the water: the story dives deep into trauma and healing, friendship, and the power of choosing your own path. Feyre’s growth shines, and the supporting cast (Rhysand lovers, assemble!) gets major development. Expect breathtaking world-building, slow-burn chemistry, and plenty of twists. Perfect for fans of fantasy romance who crave character-driven stories with strong, empowered female leads and a dash of found family.

Who May Not Like This Book:

Not everyone is on board with some of the dramatic character shifts - especially if you loved Tamlin in book one! Some readers found the middle dragged with all the emotional unpacking and romance building, while others felt the sex scenes were too mature for a typical “YA” label. The focus is much more on romance and healing than nonstop action, which means it might not be ideal if you’re looking for a fast-paced, plot-centric fantasy or if you’re turned off by steamy moments.

A lush, emotional fantasy romance that amps up the drama, the steam, and the character growth - hands down a series highlight for many! If you want magic and slow-burn love, add this to your TBR.

“To the people who look at the stars and wish,...To the stars who listen—and the dreams that are answered.”

I GET the hype on Rhysand!! He was amazing in this book and I could not get enough. I swear, I highlighted almost everything he said.

I don’t even know what to say without spoiling anything—but this was so much better than ACOTAR. The plot starts way earlier, the pacing is faster, the world-building is stronger, and the writing issues I had in the first book were way less noticeable here. And Feyre’s character development? Incredible.

That ending though. Painful. Shocking. But so, so good. I need to start the next book immediately!

This book grabbed me by the hair and dragged me under... not letting go until I finished it. I can honestly say, I devoured it :D

It was another amazing instalment, I went through so many emotions while reading, while being there alongside Feyre.

Everything was so detailed, there was no confusion when reading, just full immersion into the story.

Feyre learns and grows so much in this book, there are many many twists and turns, it kept us on our toes, not taking anything at all for granted. We get to know the overprotective nature of Tamlin in the Spring Court, the flamboyant extravagance of the Summer Court and the true nature of Rhys and his Night Court. We learn that looks can be deceiving and that there can be whole iceberg underneath the surface.

The book itself was well written with no (noticeable errors) and yes, there is sex described (if that is important to you).

Needless to say book 3 is on my TBR pile, though my heart needs a little breather (and I sorely need some sleep lol). If you havent already started this series, dont be discouraged by the amount of pages, you wont notice it when you're so into the story. I fully recommend it!

A certain scene in the story actually made me tear up. It was just beautiful. Overall, it was such a good read and was even more amazing than the first book. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

The book itself is very slow and drawn out, not as intense or intriguing as book 1
