Segunda entrega del Matabot, y aquí toca ver un poco lo que pasó antes de su liberación.
Solo con la presentación del nuevo personaje ya habría merecido la pena leer esto.
Someone please tell me why this is the first book in years that almost made me cry and it’s about a murder robot?
4 stars
The second book in the "Murderbot Diaries" series, we meet the rogue security unit with a love for media entertainment again.
This book soon takes off from where we left off in first book. The Murderbot is on the run and wants to find answers from it's past. It teams up with a group of researchers on a mission to investigate a corporation that may be involved in illegal activities. Here Murderbot makes a FRIEND! ART. ART is the transport's snarky AI and the banter between the two was just needed for.
The book is full of fast-paced action, well-drawn characters, and engaging narrative style. Fun and entertaining read.
Happy Reading!

Murderbot <3 ART
Book #2 in the series (Book #7 coming in 2023). More adventures with our AI, from his unique perspective. This AI is growing on me. Just started Book #3
I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately, so it was nice to read through this short story over an afternoon. Murderbot is a wonderfully well-developed character, with his awkward anxiety and lack of social skills, and his personality is inherently likable.
The plot of this book was perfectly paced from beginning to end, giving the reader enough new information to keep interested while also weaving aspects of the overarching story together. There were also some compelling new characters that I hope to see more of in the future. ART was probably my favorite, but Wells is skilled at making all of her characters feel real and relatable.
There’s some really great stuff about this series and some stuff that makes me scratch my head. Each of these books is so short that it’s easy to give a few entries a chance without committing a lot of time. I’ll probably check out another couple to see which side wins out (the good parts or the headscratching parts).
