From The Publisher:
From the blockbuster New York Times bestselling author Lisa Kleypas comes Mine Till Midnight, the first title in the beloved regency romance series The Hathaways
When an unexpected inheritance elevates her family to the ranks of the aristocracy, Amelia Hathaway discovers that tending to her younger sisters and wayward brother was easy compared to navigating the intricacies of the ton. Even more challenging: the attraction she feels for the tall, dark, and dangerously handsome Cam Rohan.
Wealthy beyond most men's dreams, Cam has tired of society's petty restrictions and longs to return to his "uncivilized" Gypsy roots. When the delectable Amelia appeals to him for help, he intends to offer only friendship-but intentions are no match for the desire that blindsides them both. But can a man who spurns tradition be tempted into that most time-honored arrangement: marriage? Life in London society is about to get a whole lot hotter.

Reread this about a year later because I saw a raving review for a later book in the series that had me intrigued to try the series again.

A middle of the road book for me. Didn't dislike listening to it but didn't enjoy it much either. An rather ok listen but nothing more. Will probably not continue on with the series as there is so many more historical romance series to read
***4.5***
I really loved it! It was so sweet that I was crying at the end... both because of Cam/Amelia and because of poor Leo... and poor Win/Merripen...
The only thing I have mixed feelings about was the amount of the story given to all the other characters. I suppose that's largely inevitable, as this is the first of a series and it has people to establish, but I loved Cam and Amelia so much, I wouldn't have minded more time with them. At the same time, I really did like everyone else too, so it wasn't like the time spent on the others was a waste. In the end, I even felt sympathy for selfish Leo.
It was also wonderful being able to see our Wallflowers again. Yay!
Looking forward to the next book. I see that it is Win and Merripen... which sort of makes me laugh, as I feel like we are practically halfway through their story already! :D
I enjoyed this harmless little historical romance.
dubious consent, passive heroine, pushy hero, insta-love
