Some readers felt the family drama dragged or certain issues were resolved a little too neatly, while a few were frustrated by stereotypical depictions and the heroine’s initial prickliness. Those looking for multi-POV or deeper dives inside the hero’s head may feel a bit left out, as everything is filtered through Ella's perspective.

3.5. Cute story. These last two in the series are a bit more predictable than the first two, which seem more unique and unlike many romance novels. Still, I enjoyed it.
