Good smut scenes and overall good world building in my opinion, but the way the author makes men awful controlling needy things and the women just put up with it because they are fated is annoying, the ladies in these books deserve better. The mmc hating his mate for something she had nothing to do with and punishing her was super creepy. If I hadn't read this book when I was younger and didn't know better, I never would have read further in the series
