Loved this book! The story and characters were entertaining throughout, and I loved how the magic system worked! The idea of having the magic be more like science was fascinating and made me even more invested in understanding each character and their skills. I also loved this book's light vs. dark/good vs. evil theme! The settings and world-building were also great and not overly detailed, yet maintained enough information to build vivid images and really bring me into the world! Love it!

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe are inspirational and full of adventure! When Lucy stumbles upon a hidden world inside a wardrobe, she and her siblings are launched into the winter world of Narnia as they are called upon to battle the White witch and fight alongside the armies of Aslan, the mighty lion! This story is the kind of story that make me want to open my closet and see if I could find Narnia. The story is filled with messages of hope, forgiveness, and the saving power of grace! It is a story that will warm your heart and spark your imagination simultaneously! If you love fantasy, you need to read this book!

The Hobbit makes me want to pack a bag and go on an adventure right now! Telling the story of a hobbit named Bilbo who is roped into an adventure with a wizard and his band of dwarves, this book is literally a grand adventure from beginning to end. When Gandolf the Grey comes knocking with his dwarven friends, Bilbo soon finds himself leaving the comfort of home to steal a treasure from a dragon. Their journey takes many twists and turns, including through toll land, as Bilbo learns what it means to live life to the fullest, even as his journey brings him face-to-face with the famed ring to rule them all. From the start, this book pulled me in and made me want to live in the Shire and then travel "there and back again" along with the characters. As the story unfolds, there is comedy, tragedy, peril, and more. Filled with dragons, treasure, magic, friendship, and a story that will be remembered for the rest of time, The Hobbit is a must-read!
